STMicroelectronics Announces Change of Stock Symbol for Euronext Listing

STMicroelectronics (ST;), the world's leading semiconductor company serving multiple electronic applications, announced that the trading symbol for STMicroelectronics' common stock listed on the European Stock Exchange will change. It was officially put into use before the stock exchange opened on Monday. For shares previously listed on the Milan Stock Exchange (MTA), the ticker symbol was changed to "STMMI". The ticker symbol for the shares listed on the Euronext Paris was changed to "STMPA".

Given that the Borsa Italiana stock market will be migrated to the Eurex trading platform, it will be necessary to create two separate tickers, both of which will now be traded in the same environment.

The "STM" trading symbol on the NYSE remains unchanged.
